ujjwal intro

Good morning, and thank you for giving me this opportunity.

My name is Ujjwal Kumar, and I am a Computer Science undergraduate from SISTec Bhopal, with strong interest and hands-on experience in software development, AI automation, and real-world problem solving.

I am currently working as a Software Engineer Intern at Yuga Yatra Retail (OPC) Pvt. Ltd., where I contribute to backend development, AI-based features, deployment support, and workflow improvements. In this role, I have learned how to take ownership of tasks, work with deadlines, and communicate effectively with team members, which has strengthened my professional discipline.

Along with my internship, I actively work as a freelance developer, where I independently handle client requirements, solution design, development, and delivery. This experience has helped me develop leadership qualities such as accountability, decision-making, and client communication, because I am responsible for the complete lifecycle of a project.

One of my key strengths is leading and coordinating teams. During academic and hackathon projects, I have worked as a team lead, where I was responsible for task planning, dividing responsibilities, mentoring team members, and ensuring timely completion. As a team leader, I focus on listening to ideas, resolving conflicts calmly, and keeping the team aligned with the final goal.

Some of my notable projects include an AI-based email classification and auto-reply automation system, an AI-powered plant information assistant, and a medicinal plant awareness platform. These projects allowed me to apply Python, API integration, AI models, and structured problem-solving, while also coordinating with teammates and stakeholders.

Overall, I consider myself a proactive learner, a responsible team player, and an emerging leader who is eager to take challenges. I am looking for an opportunity where I can contribute technically, grow under experienced mentors, and gradually take on higher responsibilities within the organization.

Thank you.
